LCD Soundsystem‘s career-concluding documentary, Shut Up and Play the Hits, which debuted at Sundance earlier this year, will hit theaters for one night only on July 18. It will be in a number of US theaters that day including three in NYC: Brooklyn’s BAMcinematek and reRun, and Manhattan’s Landmark Sunshine. The full list of participating theaters is below, and if it doesn’t come to your city, you can “tell Shut Up and Play the Hits where to come” via Eventful.

The film is being distributed by the late Beastie Boy Adam Yauch’s Oscilloscope Laboratories. Oscilloscope teamed up with Creators Project to run a contest where one lucky winner will win a trip to NYC, two nights at Ace Hotel New York, two tickets to the NYC screening of the film, and a meet and greet with James Murphy. More details on that contest are HERE.
