Passion Pit took their tour with Matt & Kim and Icona Pop to NYC for their largest headlining show in the city yet on Friday (2/8) at Madison Square Garden. Despite the blizzard that hit Northeast that day, the NYC show went on and the place was still pretty packed. The band came out to similar bursts of neon that populate the cover of their great 2012 album, Gossamer, and opened with that album’s skittering track, “I’ll Be Alright.” They continued making their way through a 17-song set that was split pretty evenly between both full lengths and ended with a blizzard of confetti for the encore performance of “Sleepyhead.”

Though the MSG show went on as planned, the band also had a Boston show scheduled for Saturday (2/9), which they pushed forward a day. More pictures from the MSG show and the setlist (which was pretty much the same as Boston’s) below…
