Peter Murphy & David J began Bauhaus 40th Anniversary tour in Anaheim (setlist, video, pics)
Peter Murphy and David J kicked off the US/Canada leg of their 40 Years of Bauhaus Ruby Celebration tour on Wednesday night in Anaheim, CA. Like they’ve been doing across Europe, they’re playing Bauhaus’ debut, In the Flat Field, in full, followed by an extended set of Bauhaus classics, including “She’s in Parties,” “Burning from the Inside,” and “Bela Lugosi’s Dead,” not to mention Bauhaus’ covers of T-Rex’s “Telegram Sam” and Bowie’s “Ziggy Stardust,” and ending the night with a cover of fellow ’80s 4AD band Dead Can Dance’s “Severance.” Check out pics, setlist and a few fan-shot videos from the Grove Anaheim show, below.
