The Wonder Years doing Queen cover set at NJ Halloween show

The Wonder Years recently announced a fall North American tour in continued support of their great new album Sister Cities, and they’ve now revealed more details on their NJ show, which is a Halloween celebration (it’s the Friday before Halloween).

The show happens October 26 at Starland Ballroom, and in addition to playing their own sets, all four bands on the bill are doing cover sets for the occasion. The Wonder Years are doing Queen, while Have Mercy are doing Post Malone, Oso Oso are doing Fall Out Boy, and Shortly is doing My Chemical Romance. There will also be a costume contest, and prizes include a season pass to Starland Ballroom. There will also be free candy. Tickets are still available.

The tour also includes another NYC-area show at Long Island’s Paramount on November 4 (tickets). Updated dates are listed below.

Before the tour, Wonder Years frontman Dan Campbell is doing a living room tour with his solo project Aaron West.

Speaking of tour opener Shortly, she released her very solid debut EP Richmond on Triple Crown last week. You can stream that in full below.
