Ume sign to Modern Outsider, touring (dates)

Ume have signed to the recently established Austin, TX label Modern Outsider Records who will release Ume’s debut full length, Phantoms, on August 30. The album was mixed by Jason Livermore at Bill Stevenson’s (Black Flag, Descendents) The Blasting Room.

Ume are going on tour this month ahead of the album release, and will stop by Pianos on June 9 with Super Hi Fi, The Young Things and Wormburner and The Rock Shop on June 11 with Yourself & The Air, The Foxx, and Man Your Horse. They play the Saint in Asbury Park in between. The band will also play NXNE later this month and MusicfestNW in September. This week they open for Kylesa in Denton. In July they open for Mission of Burma in Austin.
