Peter Murphy plays the first of his rescheduled Le Poisson Rouge shows that were cut short last fall when the Bauhaus frontman suffered a heart-attack. Tonight’s is a Greatest Hits set.

Goth/psych artist Sondra Sun-Odeon recently released her second album Desyre (which features Thor Harris, Mary Lattimore, Lia from APTBS, and J.R. Bohannon) and now she’s supporting it with some shows.

EPMD @ Sony Hall
Highly influential New York rap vets EPMD have been going strong for over 30 years (with a couple brief breakups in between), and they bless their hometown with a show tonight.

Mike Birbiglia (Working It Out) @ Lortel Theatre
Mike Birbiglia, who last year went to Broadway (and Netflix) with his great standup show “The New One,” will be trying out new material at a few “Working it Out” shows in NYC this month.

‘Grown-Ups 3’ reading w/ Kevin Corrigan, Chris Gethard, Julie Klausner, Brett Davis, Pat Byrne, Mary Houlihan, Clare O’Kane, AP Mike, Jason Gore @ The Bell House
Last week, The Best Show host Tom Scharpling (who has written on What We Do in the Shadows and Nathan For You) shared an unsolicited script for Grown-Ups 3 which, like it sounds, is a proposed third film in the Grown-Ups series starring Adam Sandler. A bunch of comedians and actors will do a live reading of the script tonight with proceeds going to Australian bushfire relief.

Butterboy Comedy @ Littlefield
Joe Firestone and Maeve Higgins host this week’s Butterboy which features Hari Kondabolu (Netflix Special: Warn Your Relatives), Jess Salomon (The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon), Ismael Loutfi (Patriot Act With Hasan Minhaj), Chloe Radcliffe (Tbs Comics To Watch), Mo Kheir (New York Arab-American Comedy Fest), and Victoria Hoffman (Boston Comedy Festival).
